“Tarot – Crossing Worlds” by Rachel Clarke is a mesmerising journey into a beautifully crafted universe where magic, destiny, and adventure intertwine seamlessly. From the very first chapter, Rachel captures the reader’s imagination with vivid descriptions, compelling characters, and an intricately woven plot that keeps you eagerly turning the pages.

The story follows Princess Maria, who is thrust into a world of mystery and danger as she discovers the mystical powers of her Tarot deck. The unique integration of Tarot symbolism into the fantasy world is not only creative but also adds depth to the storyline, making it a truly immersive experience.

What I loved most about this book is how it balances the elements of a classic fantasy tale with fresh, original concepts. The world-building is rich and detailed, offering a perfect escape into a realm filled with fascinating characters and magical realms. The narrative is both thrilling and emotionally resonant, making you care deeply about the fates of the characters.

Rachel’s writing is fluid and engaging, drawing you into a world where every chapter is a new adventure. Whether you’re a fan of fantasy or someone looking to get lost in a well-told story, “Tarot – Crossing Worlds” is a must-read. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Highly recommended!

What an epic and wild adventure this read has been!

A short multi generational introduction to the storyline is quickly followed by a fast pacing plot with multiple characters and events. I felt like I was being thrown right in and got to understand the world building and the many characters through following the story. The omniscient narrator changes between the characters’ POVs and gives the reader the opportunity to quickly think ahead before they are rewarded with new information and the ever growing plot continues. The magical concept includes tarot cards with many thrilling aspects, including personalised magic and the crossing to other worlds. I loved that fictional and real world (UK – love) are both relevant to the plot.

This book was an action-packed, ever continuing fantastical adventure that left me wanting to read more.Thankfully, this is going to be a trilogy, and the second book is in the works! I can’t wait.

I’m a big fan of spirituality, and I am deeply interested in anything connected to tarot. I loved this book from start to finish. The writing is smooth and flows really well, and the book’s pacing is excellent – it’s all very visceral, and you feel transported into the world it creates as soon as you start reading. Highly recommended for those who love not just spirituality but also love stories about family and relationships.
